Targeting is choosing which audience sees your ads, based on factors like location, age, interests, behaviour or custom data.
Targeting defines who your ad reaches. Options include demographics (location, age, gender), interests and behaviours, and data-based audiences such as retargeting and lookalike audiences. Precise targeting is the main advantage of digital over OOH. On Facebook, tighter targeting usually means more relevant, cheaper results.
